All red dots will be 8px size instead of 6px.

So what I did was take what is exactly on TR on Live right now, and make NC and VS that exact same size.
You notice how in the screenshot the letter T is 1 pixel but the vertical line makes it look like it's 3 pixels wide. That's whats happening in the red dot screenshot, it is zoomed in so much you are seeing the anti aliasing.
I'm not making them bigger.
I tried that first and the FOV and Z axis made the iron sight zoom view look really wonky and unnatural across all three empires, it just flat out didn't look good. In game development (especially AAA) you need to have a successful marriage between gameplay and art. As much as some people don't care about how a game looks at all, they just want functionality there are just as many people that want their game to look good. Also I don't want T Ray to kill me for making his guns look bad.

I was comparing TR and NC today and didnt see much difference except the NC had more of an orange tinge to it.
If we cant have them 6px then I'll take the TR one.

On my low settings the nc red dot is really fat and kind of obscures distant targets. By changing the red dot to match the TRs it is a more pinpoint tool.

Its stuff like this that gives me hope for this game. By continuing to address these small details the overall package become more attractive.

What? Hate it. I already think that the TR red dot is too big. I like it small for a sharper aim and less intrusion at range.

Are they making VS/NC dots bigger or smaller? Either way, 2 pixels doesn't seem like much of a difference.
