Beta for the PS4 game.

Im not saying this in a complaining sense - Ive really enjoyed this game so far.
But if you think about it the end result of what will be a year of game updates is that game they have at release for PS4 will uneusually well balanced for a "new" game.

That's just flawed reasoning. Following your line of thinking, I could say to my theoretical friend, who I theoretically just introduced to PS2 on PC, "Everyone that's played PS2 since launch (and before) has been beta testing for you for the last 6 months."

This is an MMO. A continuously evolving game. That "evolution" is not a "beta test".
