Not in yesterdays patch but in the last GU before it the devs increased flinch from taking fire.
This was done so that in the next patch you can purchase a implant to lessen your flinching. More flinch makes the game less fun. It might make some realism fanatics a little bit happy but for almost all players it just makes a less enjoyable product. It was previously balanced in a way that left players happy. Now by default its annoying. This a a real bad and seemingly desperate way to try and make money. You dont mess with one of the most basic core aspects of the game(that people are happy with) this way. Some of the other nerfs for this reason arent too bad like the removal of health bars. It doesnt dramtically change the game experience. But the flinch code is too much.

Troubling if true...
I haven't gotten to play since the update so I don't know if there is or isn't more flinching in the first place. Regardless, where did you get this information? None of the implants listed previously said anything about reducing flinch. How much was flinch increased? |

I strangely can no longer hit enemies with my amr-66 while under fire.
But I really think I couldn´t do it before, I am not sure because I have less then 50 kill with it.

Do you actually have any solid evidence to suggest that flinching has been increased. I just think this is the sort of thing that people would have caught onto much quicker and I'm pretty sure flinching was reduced a few patches ago in response to NC weapons being difficult to use due to the previously higher amounts.

If you read the GU 12 notes it doesnt say they decreases flinch.
It says "Improved Damage Feedback Improved feedback when getting hit by enemy projectiles." Think about it.

This is the right answer. All they did was make the hit markers more accurate. Now if you get shot from the right then the hit marker will be on the right. If you are you shot from above it will be at the top. Before there was no correlation between the marker and where damage was actually coming from. New system gives a lot more visual feedback.

Feedback is the red directional damage indicator that appears in a curved spherical shape around your center screen. This update made it brighter and more blur depending on the damage you take. Flinch WAS reduced a few updates ago across the board lol.
