Prowler Cert Guide (video)

Snoopadoopa here, This video is my cert setup for the prowler, being fairly successful in one I thought I would share my setup.

Hmm I have not played with the Prawler much lately but I don't think that much have changed sens I did.

Good points in the video. However I think he down play the prowlers CQC abilities. The Prowler is the fastest MBT so it's good for hit and run tactics.

When fighting Magriders in CQC try to ram them on the side as they will get stuck on you're able to lift them up a bit and then you can just blow them to hell while they are unable to move and hit you.

When fighting Vanguards in CQC you might like to have the combat drive chassis and you will be able to dance around the vanguard without problem if your skilled enough to drive in one direction while aiming in an other direction at the same time, but I bet you are.

I just made the video based on my Play-Style and experience's I appreciate the input though, discussion is very welcome.

Interesting.

I very from that a little because I often run my tank solo being often online mornings and afternoon.

Like you I try to operate the tank from range, incidents with Vanguards don't come tend to come out in my favour and magrider easily strafe away from my shots while hitting me hard.

Battles where the targets are enemy infantry in the open are the situations I look for. Often infantry under-estimate the accuracy of the main guns, which is a fatal mistake.

My setup was the one I used prior to the tank buff where an ESF could instagib you in one pass of lolpods.

The variances from yours are:
I use radar rather than lockdown. I used to die a lot to c4'ers. Radar has got me quite a few kills, rather than it happening the other way around.

I also use Walker rather than halberd / Vulcan. Because I mostly run solo I switch to the 2nd seat to combat enemy aircraft and it's surprising how effective it is. I can outdamage a lolpod reaver.

However, I think it's time for a change and I reckon I need to start running an AP prowler more often, so I'll certainly bear your tips in mind.
