I�d say yes. Well atleast untill a european (or non american) can say othervise without violating the nda...

They saied that geografic location mattered when they selelcted testers so, and they are mailing the cd�s without shipping cost (from what you can gather from the peeps violating the nda...).
But I don�t know... I just think we over here is ******...

Right heres teh beef:

EXCLUSIVE BETA -> Europeans are in this beta, I know a couple of them myself. This beta is a DOWNLOAD, therefore no cost to sony aside from bandwidth, which remains a constant no matter where you are downloading from.

OPEN BETA -> CD ONLY, and SOE are paying for the shipping. Therefore it stands to reason that as the cost of shipping grows exponentially once you leave Uncle Sam Land, they wont be shipping it internationally.

Not an option. The dev team have explained that Europe will not be getting Open Beta because France and Germany have actively opposed the war in Iraq, so they are under an embargo.

Who else are out there in Iraq right now? the British? goddamn it I'm from the UK and support the war so how can they say that everyone in Europe is against the "COALITION"!!!

Perhaps blame the U.S., and it's backward views of democracy, for an embargo against nations, just for having a different view point.

The only reason France are against the war is that they will lose out big time on oil if Saddam is overthrown. Don't listen to that peaceful solution crap they're spouting.

But like you said that's for the political debate forum.

(sorry, had to get that in there, I hate it when people think France are against it for humanitarian reasons)

I HATE it when people think that France is against the war not because its illegal but because they might lose money.
