Better Promo for membership.

Hey, so as far as im aware, there arent much reasons to get membership. Anyways, let's get to the point.
Give harassers to Members only. Less harasser spam, more reason to get Membership>more money for SOE.

*NOTE*
Everyone will get their certs refunded for the investments in Harassers, since i'm not planning on getting membs, even though i have spent a quite large amount of points into my harasser, saron etc. But with this, it would grant a bit more awesomeness to memberships.

No, never. This is 100% pay to win. This game will die instantly if it were to ever require money be spent to get things that cannot be obtained in game. Some items are already a bit restrictive due to their high cert price SC is a better option to obtain. BUT... to make something ONLY available by paying? HELL NO NEVER.

Hmm the very definition of pay to win.

No tool/vehicle that can effect the outcome of a fight shoud be off limits to a non paying customer. Down that road dark thing wait to rape you.

I kind of liked the idea of membership granting access to all SOE-made camos, armors and ornaments. To keep micro transactions rolling (and to support contributors), Player Studio creations must still be purchased individually. Whenever you cancel your membership you can only use camos armors and ornaments you've purchased individually.

Other non pay-to-win perks would be nice, of course, but this would definitely create more incentive for me.

Membership is fine as i. The resource and XP boost combined is reason enough to get it. I see so many threads about people calling membership unfair as is that anything more and they'll cry even harder.

The truth is, the membership is now worth right now.
I paid it for 1 year, it will expire on November.
I see no reason to renew it, I am already BR 100, have all weapons I would like and all certs I would need.
Now I can finally enjoy the game, so no point in doing extra certs for my membership. If I need resources, the resources booster are less expensive, even the heroic booster is a better deal.
Membership price need to drop to $8.99 or less to be on a viable price.
On my first subscription I expended $120 bucks, it is like two triple AAA games, and I do think I have played more and Will play more company of heroes 2 and rome total war that I will play planetside 2, for the same price.
Not counting the $40 of the alpha squad and the $150 bucks I have spent on SC.
The truth is, I expended more on PS-2 then on steam last year and I have bought like 40 games last year or more! Half of then not finished yet, like skyrim and dishonered.

Yes and membership certainly had no small part in helping you achieve all of that. Not everyone has the time to play this game religiously like some of us do. I've recently let my membership expire and holy hell. I couldn't imagine playing this game 100% free to play. From where I'm standing right now membership would be the first 15$ I reccomend anyoneto put into this game.

1 The Harasser would be blatant pay to win so bad idea.

2 I still sub but honestly its hardly worth it for me now. I have tons of stuff and i just dont need the bonuses. Ill probably keep my sub - but it wouldnt bother me if i lost it.

But I dont mind the money I have spent so far - its been extremely fun.

I agree with this idea. Infact why not take it further ??? let paying members have access to mbts as well as harrassers. You could also introduce a Supreme membership where the people who pay big bucks get to pilot BFR's that can fly like libs.

Let the non paying scrubs scurry around on bicycles with nerf guns attached to them.

Changes to membership are going to happen when they do the resource overhaul.

I dont remember where I saw this information,CC or FNO,.

I think one of the changes I remember hearing about was only members can have a inventory for consumables. Meaning only members can have 40 nades, 40 c4, 40 av mines.......And free to play members have to buy what they need on the fly/aka they can only have as many as they can carry.

This isn't fact,,, but I think remember this being discussed.

Maybe someone else knows.

Also they did just added more load outs for membership.

These are the kind of changes they are looking to make.

You have got to be fucking kidding me. Obviously someone that's just sick of harassers and wants the game played their way.

No no no no no, a thousand times no! I'm already steamed about no cert cost for camo or helms (even if it was 2k certs a pop I'd pay it. But the game needs money somehow I guess) but this? What right do you have to say make vehicles membership only? Do that and you may as well make it a sub only game. And don't you dare say that it's only a minor thing or that you can live without it, but if there's even one important thing in this game that's sub only I wouldn't be playing it.

If you really want to give SOE money, stop trying to pull such crap like this and rally a donation for them. Donations work, donations are honest. Donations don't pull cheap BS like this.

It makes no sense.
With 15 bucks you can get a striker and a lolpod.
With 1 month membership you can´t get then! You must play like 26 hours, down from 40 hours to get those weapons!
You can´t say to someone he will need to play for 40 hours to get some good stuff!
If they are smart they will use that $15 bucks on double SC and buy items half price, so it will be much more worth!
One month of membership is the worst investment ever just a 25% bonus is not worth of $15 bucks!
If you really want membership, you must be a dying hard fan and buy 6 months or 1 year, because if you buy less, it is not worth, and only do that AFTER you got with SC what you want right now, and not 40 hours after.
It is like what people do with 500 sc, a week 50% bonus is really not worth, unless you are going to play 26 hours during that week, so far, on my outfit, from 40 people who got the exp booster, they just lost 500 sc, just 6 of then were on vaction and played that game like hell!
Everyone agrees that the best investment on this game is the heroic boosters, the closest you can get is the week booster on half price, and at last, membership.
Membership is the worst investment in this game, but like the aplha squad, it was a leap of faith, I did it right with the alpha squad, but with membership it was just a waste.
But I paid for it at least now I am BR-100 and now everyone I tked someone I get, omg, why do a BR-100 sucks so bad?
