Daddy

How does he get the kind of SPM as he does? He's not a good pilot, I can tell you that right away, because today he engaged me when I was sweeping the landing pads of a biolab.

I was using the default Saron Laser Cannon I had about 60% health and 2 1/2 clips worth of bullets. He attacked me from above so clearly he had the upper hand. And even without Hailstorm and with such a huge handicap I managed to set him on fire when a drop pod landed on him and took away my kill .

Now before you all go "cool story bro" (inb4 first reply "cool story bro") my point is, he's an average pilot.

So how does he get such high SPM? I mean, come on, his SPM basically equals to destroying 2 MBTs a minute. And with all the G2A spam nowadays the best one can do in an ESF is to hit and run. Something seems fishy about him, though.
Maybe he's an exploiter or hacker of some sort?

By my understanding, back before they limited the system so you could only engage objectives in adjacent territories, Daddy would fly around to empty bases and blow all the gens. All day, every day. On the route in between he would hit infantry.

By doing this, I recall someone saying that making that 1,000,000 a day score wasn't all that difficult, because of how many points you getting for blowing gens. By doing this Daddy was able to get his SPM up pretty high. Further, a lot of the people who were and are on the boards have a lot of points that were added in from old Lib guns. I recall a time when the leader boards were All people who were Lib pilots, and some of the people still on the boards have their stats well padded from that.

An outrageous SPM is not difficult if you work on it. I often have extremely high SPM's, like tens of thousands, but it gets very diluted once I start having conversations or goofing off.

He doesn't hack nor does he exploit (No more so than anyone else), he farms.

How fun can that actually be for anyone, though? I can't see anyone without without actual mental issues doing that for 8 hours a day in order to just pad stats.

For some people, the number is the sole payout. I don't live like that, but I certainly ain't gonna judge.

Well, ok, maybe a little.

Meh, people play the game however they want. Some people spend their time farming points, no reason to berate them for that.
Personally I don't find it enjoyable at all, but again... Meh.

Edit: The only time people like Daddy do bother me is when their lust for points make them completely disregard friendly fire. I've been lolpodded and Prowlered while locking down a spawn more times than I care to remember, all to ensure a few kills.

I wouldn't give a rats ass about SPM. It only shows how well you can "abuse" the borked xp system the game has. With this being a F2P game this shouldn't be the case (the bad progression system) but well, add that to the long list of design flaws.

He does it by paying premium and always fighting where TR have a massive pop adv. i.e. 50 % or higher. He also has wingmen (who arn't as good as him, meat shields that protect him in the skies). I' ve done the same, made him burst into flames times quite a few times only for him to disappear (no not LA i've scoped the area every time) and i don't get the kill just the mossie kill. My guess is that when he ever dies he has an outfit medic on standby to res him and stop the death counting.

IMO it's a sad state of affairs doing shit like that. But each to their own i guess.

He used to alt f4 if he was going to die (before it was fixed), hence the high k/d and why it's going down a lot now

He's not a bailer, he's a "bailure".
