Well the guys at PS2 make a World DOMINATION series that lasts 5 weeks and the TR DOMINATED it! WE WON! Then to bend us over again Domination Series is extended WHY? Was 5 weeks not long enough for the other 2 faction to try to DOMINATE and win? NOPE! they need more time.
The series was made with rules and they got broken The TR played Hard to keep the lead for the 5 weeks and we did, we have done what the Title says.. World DOMINATION Series TR™ What do you think? |

This is... Troll?
It's a Pre-Season so there working out the kinks of what they want the official World Domination First Season to be for a flawless start, Or it was all just a stunt to get some stats for there Optimization stuff. Only 4/5 weeks have passed of the World Domination Pre-Season... and the TR had a lame advantage because of significant population imbalance on a few servers, of which is a consistent problem in the game atm. They even changed the scoring system of the Pre-Season periodically to compinsate to this fact. |

Only reason the TR is still winning this pre-season is because of the early lead gained by the massive pop advantage. Now it's only a 2% lead over the VS.
Seems like it changed when they rotated the warp gates, which may or may not have had a significant impact on how the WDS went. Could be that the VS and NC started taking it more seriously, for whatever reason. Or the TR stopped caring, for whatever reason.

Yes, they did have a massive population advantage, but why? Everyone just assumes that we won the first few weeks because we had more grunts to throw around, but why did they all come to us in the first place? Was it because we started winning without a significant population offset, or did we just have more people from the get go?
I really don't know, if somebody has any ideas I'd be happy to listen. |

The two greatest factors in the WDS is population and which warpgates you own. First 1.7 weeks TR had the best warpgate on all three conts. This compunded the pop issues. Next rotation, which was the last 3 days of week two through this Wed 10/16, the VS had the best WG on Amerish and Esamir. NC had North Indar. Having two of the best WG's, the VS put up good points. Now, on the final rotation, NC has the best WG on Amerish and Esamir and the VS have the best WG on Indar. However, they nerfed the points that all the Amerish and Esamir Ghost capping gave, so NC won't be able to reap this benefit as the other two empires did. All of this is reflected in the scores. All of this coupled with the pops is why we have the results we have.

@Donefore;
Its pre-season... they are at the 'beta' stage if you like. We had / have a bias pop balance Hardly anyone knew what a WDS was when it started. SOE are still ironing out the bugs for the 'real' WDS... Its okay, dont worry about it |
