Did Connery just crash???

So I just logged on and I spawned in a TR base.

When I got out of the base people were talking in /yell and said the server just crashed.

Anyone else on when this happened?

I was experiencing weirdness earlier (flying/warping, med/rep tool not working, grenades not exploding and my bus ran out of hit points but didn't blow up) but I don't know if it crashed or not.

For me, Connery has been an absolute shitshow for the last month.

Wierd shit has been going down on Connery today, before and after the massive crash. Plus there has been lots of rubberbanding, more then I have ever seen. I ended up logging off because even the small fights were having lag issues.

I agree with you

I have said several times that it seems like the server has sucked over the last two months. I have been on PS2 for 7 months now and I remember it running smoothly with no rubber banding, or major lag issues, durring the first 5 or so months.

I can vaguely remember it starting when they made the game so much darker. I remember logging in one day to find that I couldnt see very well and I guess they did something with the shading. Anyways, I think I have been having issues since then.

Almost unplayable in the air as well this month. This Friday I had to turn our air wing from three different fights on Esamir due to game breaking FPS spikes that would hit us on render range.

While its not just Connery, rubberbanding is more noticeable for me when trying to shoot down air and like what Snafu has experienced with the FPS rendering. I have mine maxed out and lately I am still having issues with inconsistent rendering and the sudden appearance of forces from seemingly out of nowhere.
