Anybody else wish boots where account wide?

I really want to play TR a bit... sadly though I've got a 6 month exp boost from the anniversary pack so it feels like I'm wasting its time if I play any other character as its active constantly.

Anybody else wish that either this boost affected every character on your account or was a lesser time but only active while you were playing?

I wish my boots were account wide, but only my TR character can wear them so the others are bare footed.

No I'm glad boots aren't account wide. Can you imagine those spandex slippers on my glorious NC body? Please, that's terrible.

On a serious note though it would be nice if they applied to all your characters. You paid money for them after all, why shouldn't you be able to decide how much time you spend on which characters with it? It was their choice to allow multiple characters of different factions on the same server in the first place. May as well go balls to the wall for a change many still dislike.

I am still sad they are no longer account wide.
They changed it during the first WDS because people were saying that the event was only to get boost from the secondary character to use it on the primary.
Sometimes people need to know when to STFU!
Because of it, people like me that got enought booster for 1 year of continues use, cannot use then with the secondary characters! When I got them, they were account wide, now all those booster are stuck into my BR-100 character and I have no use for them! Well I could use them to get more certs, but I really don't need more certs right now, but my secondary toons need it badly!
I vote to make booster account wide back!

Its bad enough that the timer counts down while your offline so while I paid for 6 months its really only about 1/4 of that in actual playing time, perhaps less, without it more or less forcing me to soley play NC for 6 months or else feel like I'm wasting my boost.

That's another point I agree with you.
1 hour, 1 day, 1 week playing with the same character, it is ok.
But with the 3-6 months boosters, playing with a single character to avoid wasting the boost, it is really bad and sad.
Active boosters should be account wide, so you can use them in any character you want and without the need to expend several boosters.
But we have a serious problem, called Alpha Squad.
All my new characters come with a Alpha Squad boost... 6 months... You know the rest.
Alpha squad booster were never account wide, I had several booster shared with all my characters, but the one I used the alpha squad couldn't use other characters alpha squad boost. It is right.
Doing an account wide booster bonus, they would have to get to a conclusion to what to do with alpha squad players, the best solution I think is placing an alpha squad boost account wide in the pool and when used it will be gone forever, since it affected all your characters when you used it.
Just making the booster pool back to what it was before the first WDS it would be great to me, so I can use my week booster on my secondary toons, and come back to my primary when they are over.

Of my Alpha Squad Boost's 6 months, I think I used maybe 2 weeks of it. Right now a couple alts are burning the timer and I don't even have time to play them.

It's for that exact reaosn I remade my alts to get he new 6month alpha squad boost. I'll miss the membership certs I got on 'em but when I have time or they earning to play my alts I can do it in style now.

Yeah, I'll probably be doing that... again, myself. I'd be perfectly okay with account wide boosts that only run the timer when a character is online. Even if it meant downtuning Alpha Squad Boost to 30 days.

Boosts punish the people most likely to buy them, as in those of us with jobs and thus less play time. Not a good model to use.

The more important aspect is the timer halt when offline. That should be a no-brainer, and they should put that in the game on their short-term boosts post-haste.

It would definitely help, I wouldn't mind needing a new boost for each character if the timer only went down when I was playing that character, but sadly it doesn't so for 3 more months I can't try out TR.

I like playing as NC but the TR have some guns that look cool and I'd like to try... but I have no choice unless I want to waste an expensive boost

You do know that you can still play the game without boosts. I haven't used boosts on any of my 5 toons. I have 2vs 1eu and 1us. 2tr 1eu 1us and I have one nc cause I can't cope with the blue

I only play a small amount on my alt mainly seeing what changes to the game effect stuff other then that its vs all the time and yes I may be br49 but the goal or me is having fun not getting to max level as quick as possible.

Boosts are very handy when play time is limited. Otherwise sure. If you can play every day then boosts are hardly needed.

i play maybe 2-3 hours per week (hence my br) since launch and as i say boosts arent something you have to use you can choose to use them on your main and mess about on an alt without it costing you RL money

Making the boosters timer counting only when playing it would be awesome.

But of course they would need to decrease duration a lot!

Heroic Booster and Alpha Squad booster would need to decrease duration time to 30 days! Maybe 20 days.

That would only hurt people that plays more the 2 hours a day, something I find hard to find.

Making the math, playing 2 hours a day, 5 days a week, to last 6 months the heroic boost would have a 10 days duration.
But thinking that people who buys boosters like to play a lot, 20 days would be good enough and 30 days would be close to perfect.
30 days would last 6 months for me and I played a lot.
But that also mean that people who don´t have time to play would still have the aplha boost still active.

So single boost pool, account wide boosters, time counter only when active with a 5 minutes time to start counting after logging in, so we dont waste time only getting passive certs would be great for everyone.

But since we are asking for a bigger passive pool certs for membership since day 1 and we didn´t get it, maybe we are just wasting time placing those suggestions here.
