Scamming Geocities......

Alright, now you all know that you can't link images from geocities.

But I heard, as some of you are probley aware, that if you save a jpg file as a text (txt) file, you can link it, and it will show up.

So does anyone know how to convert a jpg to txt format? I tried in photoshop, but it won't let you.

Anyone know?

renaming it as a .txt file? (somefilename.jpg = somefilename.txt)

This is a pretty old trick. And it does work I believe.

If somebody pastes a link in the forums here to a geocities image you can click+drag the URL up to the URL bar and it will open it instead of geocities giving you that "page not found" error.

Or you could get a better free host.
