Why? You can speak as much as you want to your allies via voice chat when you're dead. What's with this seemingly completely arbitrary decision that if you're dead you can't type in the chat?
It bothered me when I first jumped into this game, and I forget about it every now and then until I get killed by something and type a detailed warning to my mates only to get that stupid "dead cannot speak... unless you're using voice-chat hurr" message. I mean, it's not a huge deal, but, type-chat is already irrelevant enough as it is... you know? /rant Last edited by BlaxicanX; 2014-07-06 at 03:31 AM. |

Aye it is a weird nuisance.. its like the guy who designed it played CS as a kid/younger man and thought it was a good idea but then completely forgot theres voice chat and you can actually talk in platoon and some other chats anyway while dead so its entirely pointless.
