I was wondering how some drivers/pilots get BEPs? If you are in a squad, will you get some of the BEPs that the squad gets? Oh and what if you're not in a squad, I know you can ram people but what if some guys just jumped in your vehicle asking you to take him somewhere. How would you get BEPs for that?

I believe all members of a squad gain BEP's when the squad achieves an objective (such as capturing a base). This was necessary for roles like medics who contribute to the squads success but might not aquire many kills. This would apply to drivers and pilots as well.

Here is how i understand it works. If one person in the squad gets a kill, everyone in the squad gets full BEPs for that kill; BEPs are NOT split, everyone gets full. The two reasons it's in are to encourage large groups and to make sure the ones without guns get credit.

I'm pretty sure the group doesn't get full but rather a % of the BEPs. I hope it's not full BEP to everybody, why should my squad get the exact same reward as me if i'm the only one out on the field and they are in an APC. It would suck a lot.
Guy on the front line = more risk = more reward |

if it was a full bep for the whole team then people with less skill would probably leech off of other squad members that always get a lot of kills.
If there is a guy who gets 10 kills and this other guy on his squad is hiding behind a hill mooching from the good player, and they get even points, that would suck. I dont want to take away from pilots medics and hackers but i think they will have a way to give them a fair amount of points for the amount of work they do for the squad. Same thing for the footmen on the front lines. |

The guy on the front lines is only risking his own life. In contrast, the Galaxy pilot is risking up to 15 lives, and for a potentially longer period of time. How happy do you think the squad is going to be if their transport pilot gets shot down before reaching deployment? The whole mission fails if the squad doesn't make it to the target, and no one gets the points.
Now tell me I shouldn't get full BEPs for taking you there, and you can walk.
