make that 22 but most are dumb and stupid.
And as for me.....i know nothin but storys passed down from others. This guy told me once a 100 vs. 100 battle was goin over a bridge, and after the battle was over, the bridge was barracaded with all the blown hulls of vehicles. so they had to take an alternate rout or be flown out of that part of the continent......or walk. Oh yea they also ran outa energy cause constant air fire and the bridges were ofcours barracaded. So nothin was working in the base till some peeps from a friendly base came over with a full ANT. yea I know this sounds jacked up, but thats what he said....

Here's a funny one for you. Today we were playing on Ceryshin (sp?), which is like a crazy-polluted frozen mountain range. It's a perfect continent for air operations because the terrain is extremely restrictive to ground travel, visibility is very low, and there is no interlink facility. Without an interlink, no one has automated wall turrets.
We needed a new Galaxy, and I'm an infiltrator and the galaxy pilot in the squad. The Tech plant we had just capped wasn't far from the dropship center, which was being held by TR. However, they were sitting at 10% NTU levels and the base would go neutral soon if they didn't refill it. Lex and I hoofed it over there and I went up top to hack the galaxy spawn while he crossed the courtyard to hack the ground vehicle spawn. We each spawned our vehicles, helping the Terrans spend their NTUs more quickly and I picked him up to go fill the ant for our eventual capture. The rest of the squad was waiting at the top of tech center when we got back, and the fastest way to pick them up was going to be to hover low over the air vehicle pad load up. I'm figuring I can set it down over the aircraft spawn for 30 seconds before the grief protection kicks in, with several warnings along the way. So I bring her down and everyone starts to pile in. Of course, me, the ANT, and everyone are immediately ejected from the galaxy and I start swearing over teamspeak as it begins deconstructing. I'm shouting for lex to drive the ANT off the wall quick, but before he could, it deconstructed too, taking our precious NTUs with it. The bad news was we wasted quite a bit of time and effort securing those vehicles and loading everything up. The good news was that the dropship center went neutral

My squad lead took us to Ishundar tonight, the continent that is one gate off of the VS and TR sanc (we were NC, by the way). So the entire map was red and purple... and we capped the biolab right in the middle
It was hell getting everyone there at first. The initial galaxy flight was canned when one of our escorts ran into us... boom. We quickly recalled and HART dropped on to Ishundar, right next to said biolab. Of course several people totally ignored/missed the recall order and spammed us with 'Where did you go!#%!????' Two of those in every squad... sigh... To make a long story short and to speed it along to the interesting parts: Capped base. Zone crashed. Squad started logging back in one at a time, and I had to ward them off from the base CC so they would not rehack it and alert the TR to our presence and send everything at us when we only had three people on One dimbulb that was never in in the first place started capping anyways... so I summarily shot him dead. The petty bastard came back and TKed me anyways later, but eh. Problem is, by the time we had the base capped, it was running pretty low on gas. An ANT was dispatched! He made it to the gate unescorted... and almost all the way back... and got stuck in a crevasse. Doh! Base went neutral. !#^&!!! ANT two was sent out. Somehow he got eaten by a harasser By this point I just said screw it, sent two people back to sanctuary to get a galaxy and an ANT and just fly it over. Our commanding officer instructed us to dig in, and after we had taken up positions... nothing came. Nothing except one vanu fruit and a stealther over the course of thirty minutes. Yeesh! Base refueled, base capped. Yey! Had to log for sleep. |

That's quite the tail Led!
I wish I had any story-telling skillz, but alas, I am an airhead I will say however, that I tried combat engineering out tonight while fighting for Kvasir, Esamir. I had a great time deplyoing turrets and mines around the south tower while the purple people eaters flung themselves at us I was also instructed to be more original by a Vanu AI MAX after the 5th or 6th time I killed him/her with my Phoenix... <sigh> I love this game (I also love these cute little smilies)
