Level 3: you can use you uplink device to take a snapshot of where every enemy is on the continent. This is great for figuiring out what bases are least defended and where enemy AMSs are.
Level 4: I seem to have forgotten. I will get back to you on this one. level 5: you gain continent the wide chat ability.

Last night, Smed said the continent wide chat was obtained at command level 5. He could be wrong tho.

Hmmm. Still wish it wasn't a direct weapon. While it is nifty, it does seem to go against some of their other decisions - no bombs, mortars, artillery as weapon types.
And I do think it might be a potential problem when the game matures and lots more folk make CR4. Hopefully, the recycle time will be fairly long - once a day, perhaps? I prefer to see the command benefits relate to - well, command and movement of troops. Being able to drop troops into an enemy SOI might be good. But I can see how a smart commander might use this to punch a hole in the defenses (or offense), and hopefully exploit it. |
