Hear, hear, Toast. I'm another one of us anxiously awaiting that beta confirmation email from one of the contests this week. Ah well, I suppose I'll just have to resign myself to the fact that it probably isn't coming and get back to playing UT2003 until May

I spotted my name on the list near the top today as well
To clarify though it isn't a random draw. The planetside winners from Gamespot are the first 500 to have signed up last Friday at 5:30pm PT onward. I'm sure I had finnished signing up before 5:31 came along. Also you had to be a subscripted member to even be able to signup and even though they told us the spec requirments and asked us for our system specs I wasn't disqualified for only having a PentiumIII-700mhz lol. |
