a q for a Beta sniper

how long does it take a sniper bullet to travel, is instantanious?? or does it take a long time like delta force

at longer ranges, it will take a second or two to hit. I can't compare it to sniping in delta force, but it is not instantaneous.

pretty much u need your target to stop moving for a sec if u want to hit them.

hehheh, delta force is like the only game i cant snipe at long distances, i mean i can even snipe a guy thats 800m away (dont tell me i gota change the crosshairs, cause its still hard) Well i'm hoping it'll be like Unreal Tournament, thats the main game where i can snipe the hell outa computer players......MONSTER KILL!!!!!

If you've read anything that any of the beta testers have said on sniping, bugger, you'll know that you shouldn't be picking up a bolt driver any time soon. Sniping actually takes skill. Any newb who just picked up unreal tournament can snipe as well as some of the best. UT sniping = newborama. In cs there's a little skill involved, not much, but just enough to make it sort of fun.

geez, I hope not. one of THE main skills for a decent sniper is being good at leading a moving target.

heres to sniping being an artform instead of a cheap way to ranged kills.

i hit moving targets almost every attempt, but it took several hours of sniping to get it down nicely. the bullet at 8x zoom will still get to the target in almost no time at all, in 12x it's a bit longer but still easy enough with practice.

Hope it will b like RtCW, but it cant coz it has no HeadShots.
In RtCW no newbie can snipe, hell just get a few kills at 2 minutes or so.
But 4 a pro, well he can kill 25 kills at 4 minutes.
Theres much skill envolved in sniping in RtCW.Hope it will b muc like RtCW

I reckon it shouldn't be like MOHAA... Cuz that would be wayyyy to easy. But yeah, RTCW sounds good. Or OFP.
