Question For some reason...

... I find myself daydreaming about this game. Making up different tactics for different scenarios (beware - I might post some of them). Fiddling with character setups (thanks for the "Character maker" ) and so on... and I'm not even close to being in the beta!

I've experienced this before...

Somehow, to me, the idea of a game is often more exciting than the game itself.

Don't get me wrong. I might actually enjoy the game alot, and be quite good at it, but for some reason the anticipation, the wait for it to be released, might actually spring alot more creativity and imagination than the game itself.

Am I alone on this or just one in the crowd?

Shadowbane is a really fun game to prepare a character for via http://sb.catacombs.com/ but it's a horrible game.

One thing I REALLY love is going 2 the site with the cert calculator
and doing chars in the char maker.

This might be what You are looking for:

... apart from that I just wanna say that the movie "Commando" with (good ol') Arnold just sucked. (Hard to find any better criticism than that.) He's done better. IMO - from a macho/action kind of point of view - films like "T2" and "Predator" is alot better.

I daydream about the game alot too. Thing is, I'm in beta, but I think it only makes it worse. So I go to work and sit on PSU, my Outfit, and the AGO forums all day.

I find myself daydreaming about hot-dropping troops into battle from a Galaxy, taking fire from the ground while my gunners are returning fire... and my mailman is late today

Knuckles you got it all wrong, Commando isn't a good "criticly acclaimed" movie, it just hilarious because is soo corny. Arnold has plenty of very corny, yet funny, action scenes and very funny one liners. But thats if you find stuff like that funny.

BTW thanks for the link
