I live near San Francisco. After waiting in school all day, I finaly make it home. I franticaly check my mail box. I pull out a stack of paper and bend the mail to see if there is a CD in it. *snap*. My heart stops..... I quickly go through the pile to see is my precious was ruined. I finaly get to a letter that seems to hold a CD. I rip it open. Its an AOL disk!! I am relived, but still no beta for me.....
moral of story: Don't bend the mail.

I live in San Francisco and no beta for me either. I heard the door ring because i thought the package might be delivered to the door since my mailman usually does that with bigger envelopes (he's so nice). Anyways, I was dissapointed to see that it was a Lillian Vernon package for my mom...Oh well...

i live in Redwood City CA, just about a half hour to the south of SF. and today, our house didn't get ANY mail at all. our mail man is such a fucking DICK. she delivers the mail at like 4:30. Makes me wait all this time and for what? MY HOUSE DOES'NT EVEN GET MAIL TODAY!!

I live in Los Gatos/santa cruz mountains california, but I never got exepted into beta......BUT I did get Legend Of Zelda WindWaker in the mail, so that'll last me another month!

I live in Great Britain, I signed up hoping to get a slice of the beta pie. I checks the beta site every half hour to see if I made open beta. But I didnt and I wasnt lucky enough to get an exclusive beta download spot either. I figure us Euro peeps suck, then I notice UK peeps are in open beta and I figure im just not lucky enough. I try to enter competitons but they are US only. I hear about this "Refer a friend" thing so I start posting on forums and asking in the PSU IRC if anyone had a spare slot. Then a guy comes in and asks for me and another guy to PM him, first to PM gets the referal. Now Im in beta!
Moral of the story: I am lucky afterall, just not as lucky as the exclusive folks! Shameless begging works, although you tend to annoy some folks who weren't so lucky. |

no beta for me either...no CD either. Guess I'll have to fulfill myself with talking to my clanmates, and reading the beta manual so I don't look to newbish out there.
