Environments & Effects

What types of environments can we expect to see in PlanetSide?
Currently, many variants on temperate, volcanic, arctic, and desert. Expect some alien twists on things since this is not Earth.

The part that I put in bold is the cause of my questions.

Will we encounter more than just enemy soldiers such as hostile aliens or non-hostile ones?
Will their be dangerous territories on continents that spawn aliens?

Aliens as in creatures native to Auraxis.
Are there going to be any in game that you can come across while exploring in mountains, forests, etc.
