Question Certs for a Commander?

I recently created my own outfit so I have been doing a lot of squad leading lately. I am battle rank 5 and I currently have the following certs:

Medium Assault
Galaxy

I have 3 points to spend, but what to spend them on? I can't do everything, I have to rely on my outfit to do other things. MAXs just don't seem right for a commander, so that is out. I was thinking medical or Sunderer? Maybe I shouldn't spend all my points on transport vehicles, should I not get Sunderer? Or there is engineering? Ahhhh I can't decide lol. Any suggestions?

PS: I have to cap about 2 more bases to become commander rank 1, I heard that you only look different in agile armor, what about reinforced?

Depends what kind of commander you wanna be.
Are you the type of commander who leads from the front or the rear?

If you lead from the front take assault equipment that benefits the squad as a whole, but that people usually don't pick for whatever reason.

If you lead from the rear, become a medic, engineer, or long range support guy.

Put simply.
Figure out what kind of role you like and can effectively perform while leading, then optimize for that.

Sometimes I lead, but, often I have MAXs lead and take the rear, to protect the squad.

Best thing for commander is to stay in the back, in my opionion. Me friend and I started a squad and im the leader, so i let my freind in reinforced armor go first, you dont gain as much BEPs as a SL, but the commader abiltities are nice. Yes again, Im kind of sad that Im only br4 and a commander, so Ill let my friend take a few bases as commander. That should even things out.

Snatch, capping a base now gives 3500 xp if someone in your squad did the hack. The commander does not get that xp.

well as long as the commander is in the squad he does. every one in the squad gets the XP as long as there close enough to the base. i dont thinks its 3500 becuase last time my squad took the base it was 2800. but maybe you had empire added points due to population.

Unless they changed it (which i doubt they did because new patch talks of "capture assists") EVERYBODY in the base gets XP for hack, even if your not in the hacker's squad.

And yes i'm 100% positive, i got 2500XP from a base hack about 4-5 days ago and i was all alone and i didn't hack the place.

They changed it with this last patch. The people in the squad get credit for an actual cap, and get 3500 xp. People not in the squad get xp for an assist and get roughly 2400 xp.

The leader of the squad that hacked the base gets CEP. The other people in the SOI get BEP.

You do not get certs for CR. You gain automatic abilities. At CR1 you get to set waypoints for people in your squad. I don't know the other ones as I'm only CR1 atm. I know that at CR5 you can call down an orbital strike on a localized position, and also have global chat.

You gain EXP for capping a base on itsefence, more people you kill capping the base, the more exp. Thats why If you go to a deserted continent and hack a back witha friend, kill noone, youll get about 2000 exp.
Commanders get CEPs when a base is hacked, UNLESS some other squad or person hacks the facility, then you get BEPs IF you are in the SOI at the time of the hack
The end.

An AMS cert would probably be a good idea. Then either medic or engineer certs.

I never really hear about anyone using the APCs to get around, it seems like everyone just uses galaxies. Only certify in them if you plan on using them frequently.
