Can you customize your control in open beta?

yes you can although it a little buggy for me. No joystick support yet though, coming soon.

i don't see a reason for any joystick control. its easy to maneuver with a mouse and keyboard. its not like BF42, its alot easier. its made so that you're able to use the mouse and keyboard.

As of right now...I don't see any reason for a joystick.

The planes fly like heli not jets, so they hover. Meaning you have left/right, up/down, and forward/backward. All of this can be easily controlled by the keyboard.

i just want a joystick for flying. Yes, ive flown the reaver before, but its cool to fly with joysticks.

Joystick = cool for realistic flight system

The Tribes "boating" system will get little use out of a joystick, mouse and KB are plenty.

I have a controller thats an almost exact replica of the ps2 controller, but im sticking to the good old mouse and keyboard

myn isnt just a replica its an actual Xbox controller with a special USB adaptor
