Flight model question/suggestion

While i was trying out the aircraft at my friends house i noticed that the E (verticle up) and C (verticle down) keys make you move REEEAAALLLY slowly. Is there a way to make it move straight up and down faster? If not, i think your verticle movement should be adjustable with the throtle settings (1-0 keys).
