19) TR MAX CHANGE! The Dual-Cycler is now an anti-vehicular weapon. The Pounder is now an anti-infantry weapon. This was done primarily because bullets have a flat-line trajectory which makes them more useful against vehicles and grenades are more logical anti-infantry weapons.

I am interested to see how that plays out.. they didn't say how much tweaking they did to damage types or if they did any at all really.

I have 2 concerns about that:

1) That the Pounder will end up being dangerous to the MAX itself indoors or at close range due to the blast from the grenades.

2) That the Dual Cyclers will not be accurate enough at range to be very effective at killing vehicles.

Anyway, we'll see how it goes.

Our AV MAX sounds kind of over powered on paper. They would probably rip up other MAXs like none other. Not to mention AMS and other vehicles at close range.

yeah, sounds like an Anti-Max Max.

The other day I was using the AV max indoors and it worked fine. Not as much splash damage as I thought would happen.

They did mention that they upped the accuracy on the dual cyclers as well, didn't they?

They upped the speed of the projectiles shot by the dual cycler, but did not tighten its cone of fire. Again though, we'll have to see how it plays out in-game. My worries may very well be unwarranted.

Hitting vehicles and enemy max units with the cycler will be MUCH easier than the old grenade-style AV setup. This change is sweet.
