vehicle speed

ok folks, heres the thread where we rate the speeds of all of the vehicles. first to go are the tanks, which is the fastest tank, then the fastest medium vehicles, and thirdly the bikes area all about the same but which do you find faster the basilisk or wraith?

Then we go on to handling, turning radius and firepower. lets put this info out here so everybody can get a good read on where they want to aim in certs when they play. thanks

looks like i need to help keep this one afloat, but beta people please help also. prowler is slowest tank I've heard, but highest gun power, helps to have the seperate machinegun turret on top.
Vanu's mag rider can kick something fierce if you get infront of the main particle gun I've heard, but lightly armored in compairson with the vanguard or proweler. (don't like vanu, wussies too good to touch the ground, have to be all special like and "float", who do they think they are, get their heads out of the clouds)
vanguard is kind of the all around tank and its perk is that it takes less people to drive and gun then the prowler. what really needs somebody to comment on are the differences in the buggies and bikes, i'm not familiar with either group.

Dunno about speeds, but first you're wrong on the prowler thing, vanguard's got the highest gun power, and the magrider is the one that only needs 2 people to pilot.
The magrider's "advantage" is it's able to strafe (sidestep) back and forth, other tanks cant. Dunno about anything else.

edit: prowler has most armor, vanguards got highest damage, magrider's got the maneuverability goin on (from what i've heard it doesnt help at all).

Vanguard only needs two people, as well.
I'd assume that the magrider is the fastest tank...

What I'd like to know is, how fast are the deliverer/sunderer/AMS? I expect the ANT or AMS is the slowest vehic in the game, but is the deliverer faster than, say, some of the tanks?

Doesnt the TR assault tank have *dual* 100mm cannons? Where as the NC has only 1, 150mm cannon?

If so, wodnt the NC assault tank do more damage at the get-go, but over a few seconds sustained fire wodnt the TR assault tank do more damage?

Also the NC tank has to switch between cannon and machine gun. The TR tank can fire both simotaniously, albeit requiring another gunner.

I dont why more people are posting. I asked around on VN boards and they said this was the 'best' forum. Maybe they were wrong, this place seems dead.

Either church or beta is goin on right now, so expect no one to answer.

And techically a full prowler is stronger than a full vangaurd.

If it was a cannon to cannon, a vangaurd may win but cannons and chainguns?a cannon and chaingun could rip apart a cannon/chaingun vangaurd in mere seconds, plus armor on the prowler is much beffyer than a vangaurd, so prowler>vanguard.

A deliver i bet would be between a lightning and a magnirider
Then AMS, suernder, and AT roughly around the same slow speed.

As for balilk, wraith, and both buggies...... wraith>balislik/harrasser>mauradar

What I want to know is the air vehicles, what ground vehilce speed compares to em? Or is it simply Mosquito>Reaver>Galaxy then the ground vehicles?

i think the wriath could be faster then the galaxy, well at least it is a heck of a lot more manuverable.

Here it is on the vanguard Vs Prowler. 1 150mm gun is stronger than 2 100mm. Its all in the balistics, wait till mr Vulcan comes hes the expert on that. Vanguard has Med armour of the three. Prowler has highest. Prowler has lowest punch, MAgrider is in middle and the Vagaurd is on top.Prowler is the slowest, then vanguard, and magrider. Same oreder for manuverability. As for ROF im not sure about the Magrider but Prowler is on top so i cant say were the Vanguard is. In the accuracy department Vanu take the cake on top then I imagine would be vanguard then the prowler (logic dictates high rof = low accuracy)

That site isnt all that helpful, if you didnt know the answer to any of the above then just say so.

One thing i did notice on the main website is that they name all of the main tanks "medium-tanks".

Does this mean in a future patch were gonna get the BIG MOMMA tanks? Man, id piss my pants if something like the overlord from CnC Generals came over a hill pointed at me.

yeah, that would kick ass if you could have a mega tank or something like that. I think the reason that they refer to the tanks as medium tanks is that in all reality (and I'm not saying this game is grounded in reality mind you) but there is no way an infantry could take out a "heavy tank". seriously though, right now if a tank were to sit still and you were to unload into it with everything you had as a medium assualt, you could probably damage if not destroy it eventually. abrams are heavy tanks, you hit the sucker with a rocket propelled grenade and it might take off a panel, thats about it. and then your dead. there is no way they could allow heavy tanks, because nothing would be able to kill them. Would i would like to see is heavy artilery. sit back from a base and rain in rounds, that would kick arse.

The Deliverer is actually pretty quick, for an APC...when I was using it to "deliver" DsV to a battle, it got them there faster than I thought it would. It's slower than the Harasser/one man cycles, but definitely faster than tanks/AMS/Sunderers. Maybe comparable to the Marauder, but I can't remember.
