IF there is a request to make a change in the game at the beta site could one of u beta testers do me a favor and make the following suggestion.
I suggest that the lattice network be modified. A squad should be able to punch threw the enemy lines and hack a base. They do not gain control of the base it is mearly knocked offline for say 30 min. (Note: Only bases just behind the lines can have this happen, like a base connected to an enemy base that is on the front lines) |

To serve what purpose exactly? Bases are pretty far apart in many cases, this wouldnt really hinder reinforcements, and air and ground vehicals travel fast anyway. There would be no real noticable difference in either defense or offense, and would only server to anger the empire who just lost a base, defeating the point of the matrix.

I personally, didn't like the idea when it came out. However, when I learned more about it, I understood why they implemented it. It kinda proposes more of a need for strategy also, and I also think it would kinda making locking down continents harder in some cases, but easier to keep locked once they're locked.
