Whoa RUNDLL Error!?

[RIP]

Booted up my system today and I've never had this happen to me before. The system took abnormally long to boot up and then it booted up in to what seems like safe mode with 4bit color depth and 640x480 Resolution and gives me a RUNDLL Error. It says exactly this "Error loading C:\WINDOWS\System32\NVCpl.dll

A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed."

I have no clue what this means.
I'm running Windows XP
P4 1.8

Ok problem solved. Just reinstalled Directx 9.0a and the latest 43.45 video drivers and worked like a charm. Kind of wierd how it just sprung up out no where.
