I'm happy with it. I do have a noticable performance increase with it and my processor is sadly only 400mHz FSB (bought it at the time when 533 was costly), which is one of the things on my list to fix.
As far as benchmarking goes, so far I just have tried 3DMark2003 and I did gain about 60 points over an 845E chipset. |

Yes, that is a mother of a nice board. Canterwood boards are SOoOoo freaking $$$$. Local shop who calls me when new high end stuff comes in just let me know they are getting in the Asus Canterwood's for $299.... damn. I'm use to paying that for the chip, not the freaking board. Along with another $500 for chip, thats $800.... sob.
Also the XP3200/400's are starting to hit streets at a little under $500. Hopefully see some good review comparisions of these two platforms soon. |
