Pick up Weapons

By reading some of these posts I've begun to get the impression you can pick up weapons from other empires? Say I'm playin NC but I want a Minigun, how do I go about getting it?

First off, you have to have the heavy assault cert. Once you have that, just look for a coffin that has a chaingun in it. From what I have heard they are hot commoditys with the other empires, so if you see a chaingunner go down, get there quick before someone else does.

im TR and i have my locker full of boxes of ammo and weapons

Phenoixes- i got three launchers and a buch of ammo boxes.
Gauss- i got like 3 rifles
Beamer- only got one but tha amoo, oh the ammo
Pulsar- 3 rifles
Lancer- 1 of this
Lasher- 1 of this

I've got a collection of NC and VS weapons too, at least before the wipe. I think you should also note that if you actually plan on using the gun, don't die. You'll have to go steal one again.
