Will it be possible to use 2 computer's with the same ip and with the same cdkey(if there is one)? My brother and i are just wondering it stinks if we both had to buy the game alone . Were not PANDAMILLIONAIRS you know .

I don't know for sure, but I think I've read posts from people who have connected multiple computers on a LAN. I don't know if they would each need public IP addresses or if you can use NAT.
I doubt that you would be able to use the same CD Key for multiple accounts. Typically, the CD Key is used to register your account on a MMO, rather than to finish your installation. Thus, you can install from the same disc on many different computers, but you would still need a single copy of the game for every account that you connect with.

The CD key is used to activate an account. Once a single account is activated with a CD key, that CD key can never be used again, and is permanently bound to that account. When you log into PlanetSide, you enter your account name and password corresponding to an account that has already been setup using a valid CD key. Once you log in, nobody else can log in with that account until you quit.
So, in conclusion, for both of you to play at the same time, you will need two accounts -- one each -- and that means buying two games and subscribing for each. If you don't want to play together, you will only need 1 game, but you will have to share a single account, and that means sharing character slots and everything else. Disclaimer: This is how it works with every other MMOG in existance, and it very likely won't be any different with PS. |

I dunno, its not that way in DAoC. In that game, you put in the CD key when you log in. I hope it is this way, me and my bro aren't PANDAMILLIONAIERS either . I can afford a second account, but a second copy of the game? That might be a bit much................
EDIT: They should give a discount to people who have a second account with the same CD key if it works the way mentioned above, that way it wouldn't be quiet so expensive to have to bros play on ifferent accounts at the same time, that would be sweet
