"There is also excitement for the future. New weapons, new vehicles, new things to do, everything to keep the game fresh. Sony Online is 100% behind this. They want to see it be the #1 Massively Multiplayer First Person Shooter, for a very long time. They are also going to be implementing a new virtual war-room, where you can view the past several hours, of battles, and commanders can see how the battle is going. They can look for trends, and react to them. Planetside is about here. We will be able to battle on a truly epic scale. Hundreds of people battling for a continent, thousands battling over a world. Planetside is going to revolutionize online gaming, and I am excited to be on the front lines."
A clip from "PSShuttle Reports". That sounds really awesome, but I'd assume that it would be able to turned off. I'd want my full performance (spec wise) going into the current battle, not some recording studio.

I myself think it means that the commanders would be able to view, like a large VR map of the continents/a continent with pretty-pastel-colours depicting what has been taken/retrieved, maybe with animations showing that "this front here has moved forward and taken this one. And maybe notes from commanders etc. names of squad/s who took it. I dunno, anyone free to correct me if i got this horribly wrong (as normal)
