Now I know it has been said the devs have already revealed all the weapons for us but it's hard to believe that when I see a different weapon right before my eyes. What do you think?

well... It may just be a 'toy'... an easter egg, something they dont plan to release in the final version....


or it may be something they feel they need to add to balance vanu w/other sides.... (that is a primary goal of their development of the game)


Also realized ya cant tell if it's inside some MAX suit or something... might be one of the 3 vanu MAX weapons... Interesting name for a weapon since Quasars are immensly powerful(involves some of the most powerful reactions(as in explosive/implosive) around super massive black holes, which is at the center of all galaxies--of course it's going to be scalled down, but still that's like scaling down a high-end nuclear warhead to the level of just taking out something the size of an ant), which also supports my idea it wont be a hand-held infantry weapon (which is so far, the ONLY thing i've heard them say they showed us "all the weapons" for...) I havnt heard them say they showed all the weapons for MAX's, or vehicles.. or base weaponry if such exists

They definitely need to make it more obvious if it's in a MAX suit because right now there's no real way to tell other than the weapon.

Well you have to admit, the interface or whatever it is called, isn't exactly the prettiest in Planetside.
