Weird thing happend during beta(long time ago)

I was being chaced into a implant room by a max and then i was jus waiting there and he didnt want to fight so instead we jus talked that was pretty cool.

I was hanging out with some vanu's in a warp gate the other day.

I remember back in the early beta days before the lattice system, I was hacking a base way behind the lines by myself. There was nobody defending, so I hacked into it and waited. Well, one enemy realized what I was doing and came in to attack me. I was just sitting by the command console in the base with the little round room in the middle with the 2 doors. He had a punisher with plasma grenades (a very good combination).

Anyway he walked in the room and we fought and I took him out. He respawned nearby and came back at me again. I took him out once more (I was totally camping so it was kinda cheap but fun). So he comes back a 3rd time. He came through the doors and I was standing on the other side of the glass command center so we could see each other but not shoot. He was waiting for me to get into the open so he could grenade me, and I wanted him to get closer. We just stood there for a minute or so hailing each other. Eventually he moved in and took me out.

It was cool in this huge multiplayer game to have this long series of 1 on 1 battles going on.

Hrm, during the end of beta, a group of around 15-25 CDL helped a lone NC in a warpgate.


And when I say helped, I mean mugged.
