I have not read anything about this, but can you unlearn your standard weapon cert and use the point towards something else or does it not count towards your 21?

I thought about it and it is probably possible but it is also probably a prerequisit for all other weapon certs

I highly doubt it since 1. it's a prerequisite to the others (like you said) and 2. it's the only way to defend yourself! and 3. you get it starting up, and starting up items (certs in this case) never go away!

If it is unlearnable, I figure you shouldn't count it toward your maximum then.

i don't think you had to spend ne points on it so i don't think you would get ne when you got it back. And how realistic is it when you can't use a regular rifle but can go with the big boys?
