Favorite, everyone must see movies

I would consider myself a slight movie buff, and i would just like to start up a thread for people, to let us tell people what our favorite movies are, and any suggestions for other good movies that we might want to see (especially not well known movies)
ok, i'm going to start it off
Favorite movie: Gatica
This is a great movie for many reasons. It has good acting, good dirrecting, is very emotional (it gave me a few "alergy problems") and is just very good philosophical movie. I just love it.

Good movies that people don't know about: Momento
DAMN COOL
Donnie Darko: Very cool and trippy, also very cool philosophically
Fight Club: a lot of you prolly know about this one, but most of my friends don't, so i thought that i'd throw it out there.
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: See this while under the influence of something for extra trippyness and funnytude

Aack! Deja vu. I just (not two minutes ago) did this in another forum. Let me hunt down my response there.

Edit: Here it is

-Mystery Science Theatre 3000 ("Put the men's room in the tower, what was I thinking?")
-Monty Python and the Holy Grail ("Strange women lying in ponds, distributing swords is no basis for a system of government...")
-Monty Python- The Meaning of Life ("It's Mr. Grim, something about reaping...we don't want any.")
-The Matrix ("Please remove any spare change...")
-The Ref ("You'll be someone's patient if you don't sit down.")

Mind job/Suspense movies :
Matrix (duh! but of course most of us have already had that mind job many times so it's lost it's philosphical appeal a bit)
Gatica and Equilibirum(both are very similiar, equilibrium is more action though)
Ghost in the shell
Macross movies
Neon genesis evangelion series (specially end episodes, they are more fucked up than the architect's speech in Reloaded )
The Recruit (loved this movie)
Phone booth
Panic room
Bourne identity
Antitrust (this movie is a MUST for any PC fan )

Action flicks :
The transporter (VERY cool movie )
The rock
Gone in 60 seconds
Resident evil (gotta love it! )

Others:
Le pacte des loups
Men with brooms
Rush hour (come on who doesn't love "can you understand the words coming out of my mouth?" )
Nearly any Jet li movie (that dude rocks, Romeo must die was very good with the lucious and sadly departed Aaliyah )
A guy thing

And well i've got a whole slew of great movies but i gotta get back to PS sooner or later so another time perhaps.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is a mind job. I haven't got much of it yet. I've only been able to get up to episode ten. I'm mostly in the humor episodes now (thermal expansion ), but I plan to get farther as soon as possible.

These are hilarious. Star Wars ep 1-2, MGS 1-2, Akira, and Mononoke ones, too. Takes a lot to restrain myself from reading ahead to episodes I haven't seen.

By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly.
