Hehe, I blame the coders. I'm like that when programming, always have to change stuff and tinker with it to make it better. I suppose the phrase "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" comes to mind.

But I don't think they EVER meant infiltrators to be visible when looking through a scope.

All this bitching about seeing infils at a range, they will fix it, but infils at close range are so much harder to see at close ranges, with darklight on, they are tough to even notice while moving around the interior of a base, let alone with it off.

At a range, that bug will be fixed, its the job of the playtesters to report these things when they notice it, the dev team cannot possibly test every single instance of the game to make sure everything is working prior to release, thus they have public playtests.

Are you insane? Even at close range infil are much easier to see than they ever were before. The only exception to this is slowly tapping the movement keys so that you don't show up. Crouch walking and running are far more visible than they ever have been. Supposedly infil are harder to see with DL now, but since they're easier to see without it I have a hard time seeing as how that handicaps anybody more than it handicaps the infil. The implant has always been a crutch anyhow. The devs tweaked visibility at all levels/ranges even though it wasn't necessary. From telling us we'd be approximately the visibility of the VS pre-patch to being more visible than the NC pre-patch.
The range bug is just added frustrating, born of incompetence.

I think it was, The VS suit was the best by a long shot, NC wasn't bad but the faceplate was really easy to see, and the TR just stood out a mile off. However I haven't really had the chance to test it since I always got shot by snipers/at range.

VS was always the best, nobody even argues that. I always thought NC was easiest to see followed by TR. At any rate, my NC is far more visible than he ever was and my VS is more visible than my NC used to be. They nerfed the infil in the infil friendly patch. Only SOE.

As ive spoken before, i now play almost exclusively as an infil, and arent having many of these problems. I can still get the easy sniper kills, plus i held a guy at his AMS for 20 mionutes getting 4 kills and not dying once, and yes he had darklight and a lasher.

I just find ways to make them more useful, but im not gonna rgue with people that have made up there minds. Its a rush playing an infil and knowing death is always there, but its fun as hell when you rack up the kills and the tells saying wow i had no idea.

And also a nice thing before they follow up with a single cert, they should finish tweaking the lag that was introduced in the last patch. Its mostly gone but i have missed a couple gal drops as my computer just sat there. Work for the majority first.
