well it is either cyssor or ish no doubt in my mind, they are both too big and full of empty space. now I think it is going to be cysor and here are my reasons......
#1 the event on july 3rd was held on cyssor, smokejumper has said he isn't fond of cyssor why would they pick that cont? #2 an increasing ammount of playtests have been held on cyssor, with the ocasional deviatin to ish just to keep us on our toes. #3 the newly discovered addition of earth quakes and meteors, mainly the earth quakes though. and this is why "The quakes that still rattle Cyssor shook this continent until it broke and the pieces that remain look more like islands than an intact continent. Bridges span the many waterways on this island continent and it still has the tallest mountain on the planet. Commanders will recognize the many traffic flow bottlenecks and the centrally located Dropship Center in the middle of Cyssor." the earth will shake and along with the meteors will reshape face of the cont until it breaks apart further and we are left with the three islands. |

My hope is that they use this opportunity to bring about a global event that all three Empires experience. Like a global earthquake, or the volcano there on Cyssor erupting mixed with the accompanying earthquakes and mayhem.
If I was a dev, or one of the storywriters, this would be a moment to shine. Make this event a one time event (that possibly alludes to other future global events) that has consequences for us all. Imagine fighting in and around Cyssor in the midst of fallout in the form of ash and soot and falling ejecta from the volcano. This stuff could reach to all the neighboring continents and affect the global weather patterns for a short time. Maybe a tsunami or two locally! Let me stop before I get too excited.

Damn it, kane, you are completely wrong ! You really need glasses ... Actually, what you think is Ishundar is still Searhus, the bit at the south, and the bit at the north is the Terran Rebublic Sanctuary. Last edited by MrComando; 2004-07-28 at 08:16 PM. |

It's not Searhus, fact. I think it's Hossin, guesswork. See my earlier post for details.
And I absolutely agree Mani, was having a dicussion in #agn the other week about that very thing and how the devs have a golden opportunity to impress its current and possible future playerbase. I hope that one day I can say "I remember when the battle islands were put into the game, it was awesome!" |
