Yep, that's the game I was thinking of just forgot the name.

I forgot there were was going to be certifications for the LA JP though. Wish there was sickties for current info for this sort of thing.

Having a glider sidegrade could be useful seeing all the large cliffs that are in the game. Having a team of silent LA glide from a overlooking plateau/cliff/galaxie so that they can sneak in. Its an alternative method of infiltrating bases, it would be the PS2 equivalent of HAHO jumps that special forces use presently.

While Tribes 1 was the best game ever made, I do not feel Tribes style Jetpacks have a place in Planetside.

I do wonder if LA should have hacking though, they are mobile flanking classes, easy to break through lines or jump walls, hacking terms for teammates to follow or change to another class etc. Would give them something now ammo dispensing has been removed.
