the best commander is the commander that does nothing but macromanage and have mad charisma to keep people in line and motivated. Leave the fighting to the grunts. The only way commanders would be valuable is when their people FOLLOW their orders.

For those looking into being Vanu, and reading Drex's and mr_luc's posts about their queerness, Not all Vanu are queer, and infact, They are some of the only queer Vanu males around. There is nothing wrong with there homosexuality, but we Vanu males are not like the NC males, the lines do not blur for us, we are strait or ghey, and most of us choose the former.

thats why/how commanders can set waypoints and things. how could he do it in the field? look at the ground and press a button? naah.

U can access the command interface at any time, such is the priveledge of being a commander. That means you can command at a distance or in the thick of a fight.

I think level 5 commanders are more likely to be out of the battle, as they will likely be co-ordinating attacks on more than one target. Remember they can set hotspots for areas and stuff. But either way, it depends on the situation at hand and how many battles being controlled!
